Anyone can do the walk. Most of it takes place in the public areas of the library. However, there is a short section that takes place in one of the reading rooms. For this you'll need a reader's pass. Instructions for taking out a reader's pass can be found at www.bl.org.uk.

If you don't want to/can't get a reader's pass, there's a bench at the entrance to the reading room. You can listen to that section there.

The tour begins in the locker room, which is on the lower ground floor. Start at locker number 1.

If you're listening at home, make sure you're wearing headphones, or you'll miss the binaural effect.
